Job Summary
In the Dispatcher role, you will be responsible for coordinating and communicating important information between callers and field technicians to ensure that work orders are being completed. You will need to manage different software’s system and use various communication systems to answer and respond to questions. You will work closely with property managers and outside vendors.
You will provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. Maintains physical and digital filing systems. Answers phone calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel, schedules appointments, signs for incoming packages, and assists clients and other visitors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains the service technicians’ schedules and dispatches as work order requests are submitted.
- Schedules technicians with customers to complete jobs after arrival of parts.
- Schedules third party vendors to complete work orders.
- Screens and approve work order requests.
- Responds to property manager inquiries regarding the status of work orders, service times and general inquiries.
- Respond to technicians’ requests both by phone and radio.
- Reviews completed service work orders for accuracy.
- Order materials and keep records of work performed.
- Track make ready’s internally.
- Effectively manages conflict resolution with clients through clear communication, addressing all concerns, questions, or problems expediently.
- Always maintains a professional environment by:

- Abiding by all standards of performance and code ethics.
- Maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates.
- Maintains the custodian team schedule and dispatches as necessary for make ready’s or other properties.
- Dispatches the landscaping crew as necessary for trash outs and cleanliness of the properties.
- Ensures that deadlines are met and adapts to changing priorities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in related industry dispatch and coordination.
- Advance communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Phone etiquette.
- Must have a current driver's license and clean record.
- Bilingual Spanish/English desired
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
