Field Operations Team Assistant Manager
This is an office based position managing field based phlebotomy team members, and in office field support members. Hours - Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm.
Duties are:
The Field Operations Assistant Manager provides support for day-to-day activities of the field-based Phlebotomy staff, and in field affiliated office staff.
Must posses the ability to complete venipunctures, in the event of a call out.
Ensure all assigned active schedules and covered properly, compliantly and timely
Assist with Onboarding New Hire Staff, Interviews, Trainings, Orientations.
Assist in the assignments of Phlebotomy staff to client locations, on a STAT basis to support client needs
Complete coverage schedules for assigned staff at a minimum of two weeks in advance
Adjust schedules to compensate for absent staff to ensure continuous operations with out interruption
Ensure all AM draw specimens get back to the lab by 2pm to ensure turn around time expectations
Ensure all staff are properly credentialed as needed , create complete competency testing yearly
Monitor Connect Teams for attendance, compliance, accuracy which leads to Payroll impact, including mileage input
Become the first level contact for field staff/ office staff after 2 pm
Complete Weekend coverage schedule at least 2 weeks in advance
On call MOD for Phlebotomy team every other weekend.
Ensure contingency planning is in place for daily operations and weekend operations
Prepare weekly reports to describe on time service to all clients and actual arrival times of specimens to the lab
Support the House Calls team and monitor house calls scheduling of staff
Assist with Supplies ( storing , distribution to staff and clients , ordering more supplies )
Assist with Lab Accessioning team as needed for receiving and labeling activities
