Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver & Office Assistant to join our growing team. This unique dual role offers the opportunity to work both hands-on with clients providing personal care and in our office supporting administrative operations. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to adapt between caregiving and clerical responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Caregiver Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and light housekeeping as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition to the office.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Follow care plans and uphold EVER HOME’s commitment to dignity and respect for every client.
Office Assistant Duties:
- Answer and route phone calls; greet visitors and handle client or staff inquiries.
- Assist with scheduling, filing, and maintaining caregiver and client records.
- Support recruitment by screening applicants and coordinating interviews.
- Help prepare reports, timesheets, and other administrative documents.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations in the office by keeping supplies and records organized.
Qualifications
- Prior caregiving, home care, or office administration experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient with computers, email, and scheduling software.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel to cover shifts and work ON-CALL every other week.
