Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Move stock to production lines to ensure continuous run of the machines.
- Notify Inventory Control Specialist when stock is running low.
- Move incoming materials to proper storage location.
- Receive finished product from production and assist with staging for shipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves. Verify quantity and labels for accuracy.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Attach identifying labels or tags to materials for inventory, shipment and work in production.
- Decide how overs are being handled.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
- Operate the company delivery truck;
- Conduct inspections of vehicle before departure
- Complete logs and report
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
- 2 years Forklift/Pallet Jack experience preferred
- Basic math and computer skills, specifically MS Office applications
- Ability to safely operate a pallet jacks and forklift.
- Ability to push, lift and pull up to 50 lbs. repetitively during shift
- Ability to move and position self to operate on, under and around machines
