Position Summary

The Diamond Game Sales Representative is responsible for recruiting new retailers, sales, and representing Diamond Game in the Idaho market. This role is responsible for building customer relations to assigned retailers within the given geographic territory, with the responsibility of meeting sales and customer satisfaction goals. This field-based role involves cultivating strong retailer relationships, implementing marketing strategies, and ensuring compliance with Diamond Game/Idaho State Lottery policies to maximize sales.

This is a sales position located in Alaska, this is not a remote role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactively promote and sell new and existing lottery games and Diamond Game gaming machines to retail partners.
• Act as Diamond Games primary liaison with its Idaho Lottery retailers.
• Ensure retailers have adequate inventory and clean, proper working equipment.
• Identify and recruit new businesses to become licensed Diamond Game retailers, expanding both the assigned territory as well as other areas of the state.
• Maintain accurate sales data, records, and reports.
• Ensure retailers adhere to all state Lottery laws, rules and regulations.
• Drive long distances both within the assigned territory and occasionally travel to other parts of the state.
• Safely operate a company vehicle.
• Effectively communicate retailer issues to Idaho Market Management and coordinate with the team to determine necessary corrective actions for issue resolution.
• Consistently demonstrate the ability to practice Diamond Game's core values and apply them.
• Perform other tasks and duties as needed and/or requested by management.

Education & Experience Requirements

• At least 2 years' route sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• Experience with bars, veteran/fraternal clubs, and/or lottery/casino gaming is preferred.

Knowledge and Abilities Requirements

• Must be able to take direction efficiently while working independently and as part of a team.
• Customer service experience with the ability to conduct work in a professional manner both on the phone and in person.
• Must have outstanding time management and organizational skills while working in an environment with minimal in-person supervision.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to at times drive long distances.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and organized.
• Must have basic knowledge of computer hardware.
• Must have the ability and enthusiasm to sell to current customers as well as the ability and willingness to recruit new retailers to help grow the market.

Work Environment

• Work is often performed in a bar or fraternal club setting in a predetermined geographical area.
• Bars are often busy and loud, especially during peak hours.
• The work environment can be noisy due to music, conversations and other sounds.

This position requires a significant amount of travel during the assigned work week with the occasional overnight stay; technician van will be assigned. This role requires clean driving and criminal records and be comfortable driving long distances in varied weather conditions.
