Apprentice Laborer

An Apprentice Laborer is an entry-level construction worker who assists skilled tradespeople while learning the fundamentals of the trade through hands-on experience and structured training. This role is physically demanding and serves as the foundation for advancement into skilled trades or journeyman positions.

· Learn and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Jobsite Operations

• Assist with general construction and civil work tasks as directed by leadership.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain work areas to support efficient operations.
• Assist truck drivers and equipment operators during loading, unloading, and maneuvering.
• Spot equipment and trucks when required.
• Participate in all ground activities as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and improve daily
• Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting 50 lbs, bending, standing)
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and work within a team environment
• Basic understanding of construction practices

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor for extended periods.
• Ability to safely work around heavy equipment and moving vehicles.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
