Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tech/Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks to ensure safe and efficient operation of our fleet and equipment. This position requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop environment.
Shift Schedule
- MON,WED,THR,FRI (12-8:30PM)
- SAT (7-3:30PM)
Responsibilities
- Perform tire mounting and dismounting on various vehicle types
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and compliance standards
- Complete preventative maintenance including fluid checks, filter changes, and lubrication
- Diagnose and replace batteries, lighting components, and other electrical items
- Operate and maintain general shop equipment and tools
- Maintain accurate service documentation using basic computer skills
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Demonstrate strong attendance and reliability
- Assist with general shop cleaning and upkeep as needed
Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish & English)
- Previous experience as a Tech, Diesel Mechanic, or similar role preferred
- Ability to use common hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Basic computer literacy (service logs, email, work orders)
Pay: $19.00 - $25.85 per hour
