Tax Preparer (Seasonal)

Job Title: Tax Preparer

Duties:
- Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Gather necessary financial information from clients to ensure accurate tax filing
- Analyze financial documents and records to identify potential deductions and credits
- Stay up-to-date with current tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice to clients
- Communicate with clients to address any questions or concerns regarding their tax returns
- Utilize accounting software, such as Sage, to input and calculate tax information
- Perform 10-key typing and math calculations to ensure accurate data entry

Experience:
- Previous experience in tax preparation or related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of financial concepts and terminology related to tax preparation
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as Sage, for data entry and calculations
- Strong analytical skills to accurately analyze financial documents and identify deductions
- Excellent sales and customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients
- Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately
