Treatment Plan/ Dental Insurance Coordinator (Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred)

We are a private family and patient-focused dental practice committed to providing exceptional care in a friendly and professional environment. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable professional who has previous dental office experience and is knowledgeable in dental insurance and front office operations.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients with professionalism and compassion.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the daily schedule.
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims.
- Post insurance payments and review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, pre-authorizations, and outstanding balances.
- Explain treatment estimates and insurance benefits to patients.
- Collect patient payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain patient charts and documentation using dental software (Open Dental experience is a plus).
- Work closely with the doctor and clinical team to provide an outstanding patient experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of dental front office experience.
- Experience with dental insurance verification, billing, and claims is required.
- Knowledge of PPO dental insurance plans and insurance terminology.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with Open Dental is preferred.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
