Accounting Specialist – Construction (Sage 100)

Pay: $30–$45/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Location: Onsite only (no remote or hybrid), Lafayette, CA

Diamond Construction is a well-established construction company with 40 years in business. We are seeking a mid- to senior-level Accounting Specialist with strong Sage 100 and construction Accounts Payable experience. This is a hands-on role in a small office environment offering long-term stability.

Responsibilities

• Construction Accounts Payable, including job cost coding
• Enter and manage data in Sage 100
• Process vendor invoices and construction documentation
• Job progress billing
• Track certificates of insurance and request lien releases
• Assist with general accounting and office tasks
• Maintain physical paperwork (records not fully digitized)
• Multitask in a fast-paced, small office setting

Qualifications

• Strong Sage 100 experience (required)
• Construction accounting experience (required)
• Mid- to senior-level accounting background
• Payroll experience a plus but not required
• Comfortable working onsite
• Organized and detail-oriented
• No college degree required

Schedule & Benefits
