PROJECT MANAGER – ERP & DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

This role is located in Mount Pleasant, TX 75455 as a full-time and onsite position.


Purpose

The Project Manager– ERP & Digital Transformation is responsible for leading enterprise-wide technology and operational transformation initiatives that drive scalability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across Diamond C. This role will oversee complex, cross-functional programs with a primary focus on ERP implementation, systems integration, manufacturing technologies, business process optimization, and enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

This leader will partner closely with IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Executive Leadership teams to ensure successful delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives aligned with Diamond C’s long-term vision and operational goals.


The Project Manager will lead large-scale projects ranging from ERP deployments and systems modernization efforts to manufacturing process improvements and facility expansion initiatives. This individual will establish and drive enterprise project management standards while ensuring successful execution of programs from strategic planning through post-launch stabilization and continuous improvement.


The ideal candidate combines strong technical project leadership, ERP implementation expertise, manufacturing systems knowledge, organizational change management capabilities, and operational business acumen with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead teams through transformational change.


Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise technology and digital transformation initiatives, including ERP implementations, systems integrations, automation projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Manage full project lifecycles from planning, configuration, testing, deployment, stabilization, and user adoption through ongoing optimization.
  • Develop and maintain PMO standards, governance frameworks, project methodologies, reporting structures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize technology investments, operational initiatives, and enterprise roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across IT, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other business functions.
  • Align business processes with enterprise systems while driving process standardization, automation, operational efficiency, and scalability.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, timelines, risks, vendors, implementation partners, and third-party consultants across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on project health, milestones, organizational readiness, risks, and business impact.
  • Champion change management, communication, training, and user adoption strategies to ensure successful implementation outcomes.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to measure project success, operational improvements, and return on investment.
  • Ensure enterprise technology solutions support cybersecurity, operational continuity, manufacturing efficiency, and long-term business growth.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience leading ERP, enterprise technology, digital transformation, or operational systems initiatives in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • 3 years of Project or Program Management leadership experience.
  • Proven success leading full lifecycle ERP implementations, enterprise systems deployments, and cross-functional transformation projects.
  • Experience with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, operations systems, and enterprise integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of business process improvement, workflow optimization, organizational change management, and project governance.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools; Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • ERP experience preferred, including Epicor, DELMIAWorks, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Infor, or similar enterprise manufacturing platforms.
  • Experience integrating ERP systems with MES, WMS, PLM, CRM, EDI, and business intelligence platforms preferred.


Preferred Experience

  • Multi-site ERP implementations, migrations, or upgrades.
  • Epicor ERP and/or DELMIAWorks implementation experience.
  • Manufacturing systems modernization, digital transformation, and enterprise systems integration initiatives.
  • Business intelligence, operational analytics, production planning, scheduling, and supply chain systems.
  • Organizational change management and large-scale technology deployments within discrete manufacturing environments.


Physical & Cognitive Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments, including frequent walking and navigating production areas safely.
  • Occasional lifting and movement of technology equipment or project materials.
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic planning, technical aptitude, data analysis, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to balance multiple complex initiatives while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Effectively manage organizational change, conflict resolution, budgets, resources, vendors, and implementation costs.
  • Communicate clearly with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and external partners while driving scalable and sustainable operational improvements.
