Diamond Bright Property Solutions is looking for an experienced and dependable Repair Technician / Painter to join our team.
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with the opportunity to become a permanent member of our team based on skill, reliability, work ethic, and quality of workmanship.
We perform interior and exterior repairs, renovations, maintenance, and painting on residential and multifamily properties throughout Western Washington. Our service area includes Thurston, Lewis, Pierce, Kitsap, and King Counties, as well as surrounding areas.
Travel to different jobsites is a regular part of this position.
This is not just a painting position. We are looking for someone with hands-on construction and repair experience who is comfortable performing a wide variety of work.
Responsibilities include:
- Siding repair and replacement
- Window removal and replacement
- Exterior trim and fascia replacement
- Wood rot repairs
- Framing and carpentry repairs
- Door and trim installation/repair
- Drywall repair, patching, and texture
- Baseboard and millwork installation/repair
- Interior and exterior caulking and weatherproofing
- Interior and exterior painting
- Pressure washing and surface preparation
- General property and apartment repairs
- Working on multi-story apartment buildings
- Working from large extension ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment
- Safely carrying and operating tools and materials while working at heights
- Maintaining clean and organized jobsites
Qualifications:
- Previous construction, remodeling, property maintenance, or repair experience
- Experience with siding, windows, carpentry, drywall, and painting preferred
- Must be comfortable working several stories above ground
- Comfortable using large extension ladders and scaffolding
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to assess damage and complete repairs correctly
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying tools, equipment, and construction materials
- Must be comfortable traveling throughout our service area
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work independently and with a crew
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Spanish-speaking or bilingual is a major plus
