About the Role
We're looking for a Digital Strategist to join our growing team! This role is ideal for someone passionate about Democratic politics and excited to support campaigns and nonprofits through digital media. You’ll work across accounts to implement digital fundraising strategies, manage social media, build websites, create content, and support the team with design and proofing tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their digital skills and make a real impact.
What You’ll Do
Account Management: serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, helping ensure deadlines are met and deliverables exceed expectations.
- Strategy & Implementation: Assist in developing and executing email and social media content plans for campaigns, nonprofits, ballot initiatives, and organizations.
- Social Media Management: Draft, schedule, and manage content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, Threads, etc.).
- Website Development: Build and maintain websites using Wix and Squarespace; ensure sites are user-friendly, accessible across devices, and on-brand.
- Team Support & Proofing: Support internal workflows by reviewing and proofing emails, graphics, and copy for quality and consistency.
What You Bring
- 2-4 years of experience in the political industry focusing on digital communications, social media, design, or related work
- A strong interest in democratic politics, campaigns, and/or nonprofit communications
- Proficiency with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Wix, Squarespace, and social scheduling platforms
- Attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to stay organized across multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience working with political campaigns or advocacy organizations
- Basic HTML or CSS familiarity
- Experience with email platforms like Iterable and NGP
