Overview
Join our team as a CDL Driver and keep families and business moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate commercial trucks on local and over-the-road (OTR) jobs. Customer Service is our #1 priority with communication and safe furniture handling skills a must. Our ideal candidate must be physically capable of loading and unloading by hand with assistance of carts, ramps and helpers all provided by the company, all expenses and repairs are paid for by the company. A CDL is not required to start but a candidate must have professional moving experience if they do not currently hold a valid CDL.
Responsibilities
- Manage a customer relocation start to finish and 3-5 helpers
- Inspect vehicles and secure freight; load and unload cargo, including manual handling
- Transport cargo using CDL and Non-CDL trucks and Moving vans
- Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, and applicable hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements.
- Complete required vehicle, delivery, and cargo documentation; report delays, damage, or safety concerns promptly.
Experience
- Commercial driving, truck driving, tractor-trailer, and delivery driver experience are valuable.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle and safely handle freight, including truck loading and unloading.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation, logistics cargo handling, and OTR routes is an asset.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
