What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Therapist position at Diakon?
General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing clinical services to individuals, couples, families, and groups in a co-occurring setting. May serve as clinical supervisor to one or more student interns.
- Completes comprehensive psychological assessments on each client seen in keeping with professional standards of practice as well as DHS, DOH and other third party requirements.
- Develops individualized treatment plan for each client per agency procedures. Treatment Plan will be developed in conjunction with the client based on the comprehensive psychological assessment completed.
- Provides a wide range of therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families and groups based on individualized assessment and treatment plans in conjunction with the treatment team.
- Coordinates case management on all assigned cases.
