What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furniture Delivery Driver position at Diakon Logistics?

Diakon Logistics is a leading Home Delivery Service provider in the AL area, servicing AL/MS/LA: Greater New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Northshore/FL: Pensalcola, Tallahassee. We are looking for Independent Contract Carriers for furniture delivery and assembly. Includes loading, transporting, delivering and assembling furniture.

Requirements:

  • Active MC/DOT authority and proof of insurance
  • Must operate as a fully licensed LLC
  • A reliable box truck with moving equipment
  • Tool kit
  • Valid driver's license with clean MVR
  • Provide a professional two-man delivery team
  • 1 year minimum of furniture delivery experience
