Diakon Logistics is a leading Home Delivery Service provider expanding and growing our business in the VA area and are looking for Independent Contract Carriers for furniture delivery and assembly. Includes loading, transporting, delivering and assembling furniture.
- Contractors must have:
- Active MC/DOT authority and proof of insurance
- Must operate as a fully licensed LLC
- A reliable box truck with moving equipment and protective supplies (blankets etc)
- Tool kit
- 1 year minimum of furniture delivery experience
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR
- Provide a professional two-man delivery team
- Communicate professionally with customers, providing excellent service during delivery
