RADIOLOGY INTERN - DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGY - CONTINGENT / PRN - ROTATING SHIFT
GENERAL SUMMARY:
SHIFT: Rotating Shift, Hours Will Vary Based on the Need of the Department
Provides services to patients within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations, under the direct supervision of a registered technologist.
Prepares for and assists the supervising technologists and physicians in a variety of imaging procedures.
Prepares contrast media and medications as directed by a supervising technologist.
Assists in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas and dressing rooms.
Transports patients to and from medical imaging.
Assists in moving patients to, from and between radiographic tables, stretchers and wheelchairs.
Assists patients with general comfort care.
Completes paper and computer workflow procedures as directed by a supervising technologist.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma equivalency OR enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline.
CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES:
- Student Technologist within six months of graduation from an JCERT accredited program
