DPMG is currently hiring for a Medical Transcriptionist I (part-time; hybrid-remote/onsite position)
The essential duties of the Medical Transcriptionist I include, but are not limited to, the following (other duties/responsibilities may be assigned):
· Transcribe outpatient and hospital gross descriptions
· Knowledge and understanding of all procedures pertinent to typing all gross descriptions
· Meet/maintain daily productivity and idle time standards
· Maintain working knowledge and understanding of HIPAA standards and guidelines
· Other duties as assigned
Education/Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Ability to type a minimum of 60 wpm, while simultaneously identifying inaccuracies and/or inconsistencies
· Thorough understanding of medical terminology, English grammar and punctuation
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows Explorer and Outlook

· Ability to multitask
· Ability to prioritize diverse activities and manage time constraints effectively and efficiently
· Ability to remain focused and work independently
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet regular productivity guidelines
· Strong attention to detail
Starting Pay
$23.00 - $31.00
(Exact compensation will depend on skills, experience and/or education)

6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
