Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Mammography Technologist to join our team at our Chicago, IL location. This is an on-site role where the technologist will conduct digital mammograms and assist with other diagnostic imaging procedures. Responsibilities include ensuring patient comfort and safety, maintaining high standards of image quality, adhering to radiation safety protocols, and supporting physicians with diagnostic radiologic procedures. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with medical standards.
Qualifications
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Knowledge of Radiation Safety and adherence to safety protocols in diagnostic imaging
- Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and experience in radiology-based procedures
- Understanding of medical principles and the ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain accurate records, and commitment to providing excellent patient care
- Valid state license as required by Illinois law
- Previous experience in mammography or other diagnostic imaging roles is preferred
