Diagnostic Imaging Centers is seeking a high-energy, upbeat Medical Assistant to support our busy MR/CT department in Overland Park. This MR/CT Technologist Assistant / Medical Assistant role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
💼 Position Details
Status: PRN
Routine Shifts: Wednesdays & Thursdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Additional Hours: Opportunity for more weekly hours based on department needs
🌟 What You’ll Do as a Medical Assistant
As a Medical Assistant in our MR/CT department, you will play a key role in supporting both patients and technologists throughout the day. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting MR and CT technologists with patient flow and exam preparation
- Performing venipuncture for contrast injections (highly preferred and strongly needed)
- Preparing patients for exams, including screening and education
- Turning over exam rooms quickly and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment
- Providing exceptional, compassionate patient care
- Communicating clearly and professionally with patients and team members
- Supporting smooth workflow across the MR/CT department
The Medical Assistant is essential in helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for from arrival through exam completion.
