About the Function: Supply Chain and Manufacturing Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world. With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships. About the Role This role is a part of MOVE Center of Excellence (above market) for Diageo, and is responsible for all logistics activities in Diageo Korea. This role is responsible in managing end-to-end Logistics operational activities (customs forwarder / warehousing /rework and domestic customer order delivery . This role also manages the running scope for customer service, including customer delivery on-time, customer logistics communication and customer supply network optimization. Ensure local quality and food safety of product are delivered to satisfy customer. Delivery of strategic objectives in managing Logistics operations to meet our key measurement. Handling and managing additional customer/consumer complaints, including coordinate with products track and trace, equipment reverse logistics. Support in market specific activities, including annual stuffs sales, etc. Manages the operation under Korea local regulation, e.g.. manage the RFID automation rework line. Complexity and Scope As a part of APAC Centre of Excellence (COE), this role will partner with regional stakeholders across the global organization. Diageo Korea has 1 contracted warehouse in Incheon while warehouse and rework operation is managed by 3rd party logistics company. This role will sure Diageo Korea is committed to complying with Korea local regulations for operating the logistics process as well as DIAGEO’s standards and code of business conduct (COBC) Role Responsibilities Financial / Revenue Responsibilities Propose, manage, and control the agreed budget in Operational Expenditures (Move cost) by working closely with the related stakeholders (Supply Financial Team, Procurement, supply, and others) to ensure agreed budgets are delivered effectively and efficiently. Provide regular analysis and review to the management for the risks and opportunities in delivering efficient financial performance, prioritising on Logistics cost. Review and manage inventory level and logistics RCCP as targeted in yearly AOP Ad Hoc Project Manager to drive productivity and savings aligned with given targets. Role Responsibilities / Accountabilities Management of business process in Logistics based on the Diageo Best Practice Standard. Take on the responsibility of a people manager managing 1 headcount Ensure demand fulfilment and customer satisfaction related to the Logistics process, which includes resolving customer/consumer complaints. Implementation of continuous improvement projects as a regional requirement and optimization of logistics costs as well as carbon footprint management and driving of sustainability agenda. Implementation of Controls Assurance and Risk Management (CARM), and Local Regulation forTransportation and Warehousing activities. Implement the Diageo Standard in customs clearance / Transportation and Warehousing activities. New innovation project in logistics area e.g. Route-to-customer, warehouse supply network design. Extensive contact and close collaboration with the APAC Planning & Logistics Team and related stakeholders in market (SCDs, FDs) to meet the main goal of the business. Management of 3PL and Logistics Service Provider effectively, to meet the main goal of the business Champion cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions to problems Qualification & Job Requirement Bachelor's degree at minimum, background in Logistics is preferred At least 5 years of experience in Logistics activities, specifically in Transportation and Warehousing. Possess critical thinking skills and ability to manage large database and multiple systems concurrently Effectively bilingual in both English and Korean.
