Position Summary
Banquet Servers at Diablo Country Club are instrumental in creating exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests during special events and functions. This role requires a strong commitment to service excellence, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Banquet Servers are responsible for setting up event spaces, providing attentive service throughout the function, and ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all attendees.

Work Performed
- Assist in the setup of banquet rooms, including table arrangements, place settings, and decorations, according to event specifications.
- Attend pre-event meetings to review event details, guest requirements, and service expectations.
- Greet guests and guide them to their designated tables or seating areas.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, adhering to the established service standards and event timelines.
- Anticipate and respond to member needs, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the event.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and beverage orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including promptly clearing tables and replenishing service items as needed.
- Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of event spaces after the conclusion of the function.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to accommodate last-minute changes or special requests.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
Minimum Requirements for Position:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a server in a high-volume, upscale dining or banquet setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
- Knowledge of proper food service techniques and etiquette.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid food handler's certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving tables, chairs, and other event setup items.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests, team members, and supervisors.
Salary : $20 - $24
