Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for visits with warmth and professionalism
- Record vital signs, medical history, and current medications
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures
- Support wound care and lymphedema patients (washing, wrapping, treatment prep)
- Prepare and maintain clean treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies
- Assist with documenting care, writing home health orders, and patient education
- Manage referrals, patient records, and basic communications as needed
- Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Travel between clinic locations may be required between SLC and Orem.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant experience required or other equivalent
- Knowledge of clinical workflows, medical terminology, and EMRs (NextGen a plus)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable, proactive, and committed to long-term growth (1.5 years preferred)
- Proficiency with Google Suite and patient management software
Schedule
- Part-time role 30 hours
- Required availability: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday – 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
