Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator will play a vital role in promoting our programs, supporting community outreach, and building partnerships through digital storytelling, video, and strategic communication. This position is ideal for someone with one to two years of work experience who is passionate about health and wellness, skilled in social media and video content creation, and excited to collaborate with healthcare and public health partners to strengthen community impact.
What You’ll Do
Digital & Social Media
- Create and manage engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn to highlight wellness initiatives, diabetes prevention, and community success stories.
- Collaborate with program teams and healthcare partners to design campaigns that promote workshops, screenings, and community health events.
- Foster online engagement by responding to questions and encouraging community participation.
Video Storytelling
- Plan, film, and edit short videos that feature participant stories, nutrition tips, diabetes self-management education, and collaborative initiatives with healthcare providers.
- Capture live moments at community health fairs and partner events to celebrate shared impact.
Email & Campaign Coordination
- Support the development of newsletters, event promotions, and campaign materials that highlight partnerships and program outcomes with a focus on building healthcare partnerships and community relationships
- Ensure messaging is consistent, accessible, and reflective of the organization’s values.
Community Outreach & Partnerships
- Promote and support diabetes self-management workshops, nutrition education programs, and community health fairs through creative marketing materials and digital content.
- Assist in documenting and sharing collaborative projects that improve local health outcomes.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track digital and campaign performance metrics and provide insights to improve outreach strategies and partner collaboration efforts.
Core Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Health, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or community outreach (internships and volunteer roles encouraged).
- Strong proficiency in social media management and short-form video production.
- Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and analytics platforms.
- Excellent storytelling, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for health equity, diabetes self-management, and community collaboration.

Pay: Up to $50,000.00 per year
