ll-being.Role Description This is a part-time, fully remote Registered Dietitian role focused on providing virtual, individualized nutrition counseling to people with diabetes, prediabetes, PCOS, and hormone-related health conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting telehealth sessions, completing thorough nutrition assessments, and developing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy plans that support blood sugar balance, weight-inclusive care, and long-term health. The Registered Dietitian will document encounters in a secure electronic system, collaborate with other dietitians and healthcare partners, and contribute to program development for employee wellness and community initiatives. The role also involves educating clients on practical meal planning, behavior change strategies, and lifestyle habits related to nutrition, stress, and sleep, while maintaining high standards of cultural humility and trauma-informed, non-stigmatizing care. nd needs.Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Dietetics and Nutrition, with the ability to interpret clinical information and apply current evidence-based guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in Nutritional Counseling and Medical Nutrition Therapy, particularly for diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance, and hormone-related conditions.
- Skills in weight-inclusive care, with a focus on sustainable behavior change and body-respectful approaches.
- Comfort using telehealth platforms and electronic health records, with attention to confidentiality and accurate documentation.
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential and current state licensure (or eligibility) where required.
- Experience or strong interest in working with diverse populations, including people affected by diabetes, PCOS, and menopause, using culturally responsive and inclusive practices.
- Excellent communication, motivational interviewing, and teaching skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in accessible language.
