Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative with proven experience in the packaging and wood products industry. This role focuses primarily on crating sales, pallet sales, and wood resale, while also developing opportunities in packaging sales as a secondary area of growth. The ideal candidate will be skilled in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and delivering customized product solutions that meet customer needs.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in crating, pallet, and wood resale markets, with packaging sales as a complementary focus.
- Conduct client visits, product demonstrations, and solution presentations tailored to customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, logistics) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer solutions.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments in both wood and packaging sectors.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and CRM updates.
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry expos to promote brand presence and generate leads.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience in the packaging and/or wood products industry (crating, pallet, wood resale, corrugated, flexible, rigid, or custom packaging preferred).
- Strong understanding of wood materials, packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and supply chain dynamics.
- Proven success in developing new business and managing key accounts in industrial or B2B sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
