This is a leadership role focused on optimizing production performance and supporting a culture of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily floor operations to ensure efficient workflow, productivity, and quality standards.
- Monitor key production metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Implement strategies for waste reduction, cycle time reduction, and overall cost efficiency.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to support equipment troubleshooting and maintenance collaboration.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other proven methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to achieve production goals.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor and develop supervisors and frontline staff to support professional growth and team performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of key operational data and improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in floor-level operations management in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial machinery and equipment.
- Demonstrated success in waste reduction and cycle time improvement.
- Hands-on experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
