Position Overview
Ready to explore the world of hospitality from the inside out? As a Hospitality Apprentice at The Hotel at Arundel Preserve, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple hotel departments while learning what it takes to create exceptional guest experiences and operate a successful hotel.
This rotational apprenticeship is designed for individuals who are curious, motivated, professional, and eager to grow in the hospitality industry. Apprentices will shadow leaders, support day-to-day operations, and develop foundational leadership and customer service skills in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Whether you’re interested in guest service, events, culinary, hotel operations, or business administration, this program offers real-world exposure to the many moving parts that keep a hotel running.
What You’ll Learn
Throughout the program, apprentices may rotate through departments such as:
- Front Desk & Guest Services
- Housekeeping Operations
- Engineering & Facilities

- Banquets & Events

- Accounting & Administration
- Hotel Leadership & Management
Essential Functions
Guest Experience & Service
- Welcome and assist hotel guests with professionalism and hospitality
- Learn hotel service standards and guest engagement techniques
- Support front office operations, including check-ins, guest requests, and communication
Hotel Operations Exposure
- Observe and assist with daily operations across multiple departments
- Learn how different teams work together to deliver seamless guest experiences
- Participate in operational meetings, trainings, and team activities
Event & Banquet Support
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and execution of hotel events and meetings
- Learn event flow, coordination, and banquet operations
Administrative & Business Development
- Gain exposure to scheduling, inventory, recruitment, budgeting, and reporting processes
- Assist with department projects and operational initiatives as assigned
Professional Development
- Build communication, teamwork, leadership, and time management skills
- Receive mentorship and feedback from hotel leaders
- Participate in trainings focused on hospitality, professionalism, and workplace readiness
Qualifications
- High school junior, senior, recent graduate, or college student preferred
- Interest in hospitality, tourism, business, or customer service careers
