About the Role
Holiday Inn Express – Miramar Beach is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead daily hotel operations, ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, and drive overall business performance. This position requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about developing strong teams, delivering top-tier service, and maintaining IHG brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily hotel operations: front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast
- Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards and company policies
- Drive guest satisfaction; address and resolve guest concerns
- Hire, train, coach, and motivate staff to support engagement and retention
- Manage labor and operational costs; oversee budgeting, forecasting, and P&L
- Monitor guest scores and implement action plans to improve results
- Oversee room inventory to maximize occupancy and RevPAR
- Maintain strong communication with Regional/Corporate leadership
- Ensure preventive maintenance, safety, and cleanliness compliance
- Maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, and community partners
- Provide strong leadership presence throughout the hotel
Qualifications
Required
- 3 years of hotel management experience (GM experience preferred)
- Working knowledge of hotel departments (front office, housekeeping, maintenance)
- Proven experience developing and coaching team members
- Strong financial skills including P&L management and revenue strategy
- PMS experience (IHG Concerto preferred)
Preferred
- IHG brand experience
- Select-service hotel experience
- Proven success improving guest satisfaction scores
