Job Title: Internship – Airfreight Specialist

Job Location: Atlanta, GA

Key Responsibilities:

• Help support customer communication and attend logistic needs related to Air Freight Cargo Forwarding Services. Including but not limited, to document revision, logistic coordination, visibility and reporting.
• Assist in the customer communications in regards to customer’s shipment status as continuous communication with overseas to meet delivery commitments; follow-up with airline to monitor and track departure and arrival information and updates
• Collaborate with different departments and establish monitoring processes, where applicable, to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance.
• Support on efficient billing processes. Ensures invoicing of rendered services is completed accurately and in a timeframe consistent with company policy.
• Work with destination Station to manage/recover from service deviations.
• Completes coordination between all applicable parties for all air shipments for our customers; ensures timely bookings with airline on customer behalf
• Effective time management with problem solving and decision making skills
• Multiple task skills required
  
  
  

Key Requirements:

• Current Junior or Senior Undergraduate student, or Graduate student
• Preference for Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management, Sales, or Business/International concentrations
• Strong academic achievement (Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred)
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Exceptional written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
• Extremely organized, attention to detail, and able to multi-task
• Positive attitude and willing to learn and develop skill sets
• A strong interest in international transportation and logistics is a plus
• Good communicative, analytical & administrative skills
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience in Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint would be a plus
  
  
  

Pay Range: $21.32 - $28.43/hr.
