The Role
The Senior Manager, Billing & Cash Management plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely billing and effective cash flow management across the organization. This position blends hands-on operational leadership with strategic oversight, driving process improvements, supporting global financial objectives, and ensuring compliance across high-volume, multi-region operations.
Key Responsibilities
Billing Operations
- Lead end-to-end billing processes for high-volume transactions across multiple regions
- Ensure invoices align with contractual terms, tax and duty regulations, and internal policies
- Review and approve billing adjustments, credits, and refunds
Cash Management
- Monitor daily cash positions and ensure timely application of customer payments
- Optimize cash flow through forecasting, reconciliation, and performance tracking
- Partner with Treasury and Finance teams to manage liquidity and banking relationships
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies
- Collaborate with IT and Global Finance teams to enhance ERP systems and reporting tools
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and external audit requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation for all billing and cash management activities
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and analyze billing and cash flow reports for senior leadership
- Track and report KPIs including billing accuracy, DSO, cash application timeliness, and reconciliation metrics
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of billing and cash application professionals
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 7 years of experience in billing and cash management
- 5 years of people leadership experience
Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial processes
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or transportation industries
- Familiarity with international billing regulations and multi-currency environments
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills

- Regular sitting for 25–75% of the workday
- Occasional travel (<10%) may be required
