The role also serves as a senior commercial leader and subject matter expert for DHL eCommerce international solutions, including SaaS and API-enabled integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead new customer acquisition for DHL eCommerce international solutions, with a strong focus on cross‑border ecommerce
- Promote and support cross‑border sales across the broader sales organization in partnership with Regional Vice Presidents
- Identify, qualify, and validate international ecommerce opportunities through prospecting, shared leads, and customer expansion
- Serve as an industry thought leader and subject matter expert in international ecommerce and sales enablement
- Target enterprise and high‑growth ecommerce customers, including top online retailers, marketplaces, and pure‑play merchants
- Collaborate closely with Product, Strategy, and Commercial teams to align offerings, pricing strategies, and go‑to‑market execution
- Represent DHL eCommerce externally through customer meetings, networking, and speaking engagements
- Maintain a healthy, well‑managed Salesforce pipeline while consistently achieving or exceeding sales performance goals
- Coach, train, and conduct performance reviews for International Sales Managers and Senior Sales Managers
- Act as the voice of the customer by sharing client insights, feedback, and market trends internally
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related discipline
- 8–10 years of outside sales experience
- Demonstrated experience selling technology‑enabled solutions, including SaaS and API integrations
- Proven success in new business development and hunter‑focused sales roles
- Experience working with ecommerce customers, platforms, or marketplaces
- Prior use of a CRM system (Salesforce.com preferred)
- Ability to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and industry events
- Experience in logistics or parcel delivery environments
- Sales leadership or people‑management experience
- Strong understanding of merchant platforms and ecommerce ecosystems
- Professional office or remote work environment
- Regular sitting, standing, and walking consistent with office work
- Travel required for sales calls, customer visits, and industry events
