Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace at all times
- Monitor food storage, freshness, and proper labeling to minimize waste
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or in a commercial kitchen preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent food quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
