POSITION: Powder Technician I (Entry-Level)

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our refining team as an Entry-Level Powder Technician I. This position offers an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career in the manufacturing industry. WE PROVIDE:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Operate Ball mills, Separators and Blenders

· Operate Incinerators for burning of Organics

· Operate Various Gas and Inductions Furnaces

· Empty molten metal from furnaces using tongs, cranes, ladles, graphite molds

· Take samples from powdered materials and molten metals

· Weigh various materials pre and post melt

· Fill out production logs and other data

· Inspect equipment for defects and wear

· Provide settlement information regarding lot weights

· Clean metal bars free of slags using air hammers

· Keep accurate track of material lots

· Attention to detail

· Occasional overtime

QUALIFICATIONS:

· No prior manufacturing experience required; we will provide on-the-job training

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

· Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about manufacturing processes and equipment

· Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team

· Good communication skills and a strong work ethic

· Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment

· Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a safe workplace
