Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about holistic wellness and possess a deep understanding of Ayurvedic or Holistic principles. As a Massage Therapist at our spa, you will have the opportunity to provide personalized treatments that promote relaxation, alleviate stress, and enhance overall well-being. We will provide Ayurvedic Training.
Duties:
- Perform various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and other modalities as needed
- Assess clients' needs and customize massage treatments accordingly
- Provide recommendations for ongoing treatment plans based on clients' conditions and goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay informed about current trends and advancements in the field of massage therapy
- Adhere to all ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality of client information
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Valid state license or certification as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy, acute pain management, deep tissue massage, and other relevant techniques
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess clients' conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Experience with physical examinations and occupational health is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
