Dharma Home Care is seeking a compassionate, experienced CHHA for an upcoming case in the Passaic County area supporting a home-based client with advanced Parkinson’s.

This is a consistent, ongoing opportunity in a structured home environment, with the potential to support an additional adult in the household with lighter care needs.

About The Role

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Support a client with mobility limitations and higher care needs
• Provide light support for a second adult in the home as needed
• Ensure safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
• Follow individualized care plans and communicate any changes in condition
  
  
  

Schedule

• Morning, evening, and overnight shifts available
• Opportunity for consistent weekly hours, including full-time
  
  
  

Location

Passaic County (Paterson, Clifton, Passaic, and surrounding areas)

Compensation

• $19.50 – $21.50/hour depending on experience and availability

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with mobility support, transfers, and personal care
• Experience with Parkinson’s or higher-acuity clients strongly preferred
• Reliable transportation highly preferred

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensure: Must hold an active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing.
• Physical Ability: Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of this position.
• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
• References: Must provide at least two verifiable professional references.
• Work History: Must provide verifiable employment history for the past 12 months.
• Background Check: Must successfully pass a national criminal background check (including any additional screenings required by the State of New Jersey).
• Health Requirements: Must provide proof of the following:
• Valid physical examination within the last year
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination
