This role will support production AND development/prototype assemblies and products within the Advanced Product Center (APC) at the McKinney, TX site.

The selected candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing/production environment on 2nd Shift.

Experience working in a classified or proprietary program environment is preferred.

What You Will Do

• Assemble, disassemble, re-assemble, fabricate, solder, repair and/or inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Set up and operate a variety of machine and hand instruments.
• Route, dispatch and expedite flow of material.
• Check for work correctness. Specific duties will include material preparation and the assembly and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies. Perform wire/cable preparation, installation, crimping, and torquing using hand instruments.
• Perform work in accordance with written work instructions to prescribed standards.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases and tools
• Experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection.
