Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimator located in Corpus Christi, TX. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, analyzing blueprints, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets. The role also includes sourcing materials, assessing project risks, and working closely with subcontractors and vendors to secure competitive bids and proposals. We are also willing to train any individuals with advanced computer skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cost estimating, budgeting, and bid preparation methodologies.
- Experience reading and analyzing blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with an ability to source materials efficiently.
- Familiarity with construction project scheduling and risk assessment techniques.
- Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and project management tools is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
