Roles & Responsibilities:

Build and assist with construction of electro-mechanical test fixtures and engineering prototypes

Build and testing of prototype endoscopes and other vision related products

Perform tests and calibration of optical systems using custom made test equipment

Performing equipment qualifications IQOQPQ and GR&R

Coordinate or perform Preventive Maintenance of customized test fixtures

Perform other engineering technician duties as-needed

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

8 years of experience in manufacturing/engineering environment

Certificate or Associates degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Technology preferred.

Experience with electro-mechanical manufacturing and test with optical test platforms preferred

Able to contribute on design, construction, and improvement of electro-mechanical test fixtures

Ability to solve technical issues with a basic understanding of mechanical dwgs & electrical schematics

Ability to fabricate fixtures from assembly drawings and associated documentation

Experience with basic electrical measurement techniques

Hands-on capability performing compact assembly tasks including soldering

Proven ability to work well in team environment

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $55.61 per hour
