We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide ongoing mental health support to diverse patient populations. Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for patients of all ages, including children and geriatrics.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans utilizing psychopharmacology and therapy techniques.
- Prescribe medications such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, and mood stabilizers while ensuring safe medication management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with complex behavioral health needs.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and medical records management.
- Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health care across diverse settings.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and wellness strategies.
Experience
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP).
- Proven experience in behavioral health or psychiatric settings, including outpatient clinics or inpatient units.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for efficient documentation.
- Experience working with diverse populations including children, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology, medication management, and clinical research methodologies.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.

Pay: $160,705.97 - $211,119.02 per year
