Concession Stand Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Concession Stand Workers. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages at our concession stand. You will play a key role in creating a positive experience for our guests, ensuring that all food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders.
• Prepare and serve a variety of food items, including snacks, beverages, and meals in accordance with food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the concession stand area, including equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
• Ensure proper food storage and handling practices to prevent contamination.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for sales.
• Assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure the stand is fully equipped during service hours.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy events or peak times.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry, such as working in a grocery store, kitchen, or restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; culinary skills are a plus.
• Strong basic math skills for handling transactions effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $8.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
