What you will be doing:
Collect, organize, and analyze data related to business participation, vendor engagement, economic impact, and community programs.
Develop a structured outreach strategy aligned with DFW’s business development goals.
Analyze vendor participation data to identify gaps and target markets.
Research and map community partners (chambers, trade associations, advocacy groups).
Recommend improvements to vendor onboarding and readiness resources.
Propose marketing and engagement strategies to increase outreach impact.
Identify success metrics and create a simple tracking/reporting dashboard.
Present final recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
What you need:
Must be an active student in a bachelor's degree program in Business, Public Administration, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Interest in business development, procurement, economic development, or community engagement.
18 years of age or older.
What we desire:
Current, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher from one of the following universities (University of North Texas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of Texas at Dallas, Paul Quinn College, or University of Oklahoma).
Effort:
Works in an office environment.
Uses keyboard devices and computer monitors.
Uses near-visual acuity in reading written documents and data.
Communicates by telephone, computer, in writing, and in person.
Drives to locations on airport property.
