What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide position at DFW Home Care?
We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with an established care plan.
Responsibilities
- Provide health care services in patients residences
- Bathing Assistance:
Help clients with full or partial baths, sponge baths, and general hygiene to maintain cleanliness and prevent skin conditions.
- Bed Arrangement:
Assist in making and arranging the client's bed, including changing linens to promote a clean and comfortable resting environment.
- Dressing Support:
Aid clients in selecting, putting on, and removing clothing, while encouraging independence when possible.
Skills
- Proven working experience as home health aide
- Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Proficiency in English/Spanish
- Nursing and health care administration skills
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Current CPR certificate
- First Aid training
- Valid driver’s license
- High school degree
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide certification.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $25.00 per hour
