Hiring Assistant Property Manager/leasing agent - 100 Units DFW Area
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for the overall success of daily operations. You must be committed to providing the highest level of service to our community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Property manager to effectively manage activities such as leasing, tenant retention, evictions, and customer service.
- Collect rent from residents and records accurately and thoroughly.
- Contacts delinquent residents and sends late/eviction notices; administer according to the lease contracts
- Understands expectations of resident retention and renewing leases.
- Performs leasing activities, including marketing, generating traffic, responding & following up to telephone and social media inquiries, meeting, touring, and qualified prospective tenants, and closes the sale by obtaining rental applications and deposits.
- record, investigate, resolve and follow up on work orders.
- Assists the Property Manager in addressing and resolving internal and external issues in relation to contractors, residents, and vendors.
- Assumes the Property Manager's duties in the event of absence.
- Requirement to work on Saturdays.
- Full Time Contract Position (40 hours) with bonus incentives for lease signing and renewals.

Required Skills:
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the property management industry for 2 years.
- Willing to work in a second chance, low-income environment with prospects who have more challenging backgrounds.
- Accurately complete documentation regarding leases, HUD paperwork, and leasing forms.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and with property management software.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to residents, contractors, and associates.
- Excellent sales and customer service relations.
Preferred Skills:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with Tax Credit Multi-Family Communities
