Quality Control Technician – Concrete / Precast
Cleburne, TX | $23–$30/hr | Full-Time | Non-Exempt
About the Role
DFW Concrete Products is seeking a Quality Control Technician to lead and maintain our Quality Control Program at our Cleburne, TX facility. This position will initially function as a one-person QC department and play a critical role in ensuring compliance with NPCA, PCI, and TXDOT requirements and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily production inspections and material testing
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and QC standards
Maintain accurate QC records, reports, and certifications
Develop and administer project-specific QC programs
Serve as the primary contact for audits and inspections
Coordinate with production and management to resolve quality issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Experience in concrete or precast quality control
Knowledge of ACPA, PCI, and KDOT requirements
Preferred / Future Certifications
ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I
PCI Level I QC Tech or ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector
ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician
ACI Aggregate Testing Technician - Level I
NCPA/ACPA Quality School (optional)
OSHA 30 (optional)
Schedule & Environment
Hours vary based on production needs and may include overtime. Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor plant environments with exposure to noise, weather conditions, and light physical demands.
