What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Campaign Fellow position at DFL Campaign?
A competitive Democratic campaign in western Minnesota is hiring a part-time Fellow to help engage with voters ahead of the 2026 election. This position is focused primarily on voter canvassing, specifically door knocking.
No previous campaign experience is required. Training and support will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Execute grassroots field activities, such as door knocking
- Professionally represent the campaign when speaking to voters
- Attend required trainings and weekly meetings
- Check in regularly with the campaign team
- Meet and exceed voter-contact goals
- Track and submit weekly metrics
Qualifications
- Confident when engaging with voters on behalf of the campaign
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable following a script
- Reliable transportation and able to travel around the district
- Able to build relationships with a diverse array of voters
- Access to a phone and computer
- Able to canvass outdoors for extended periods
