What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Tech II position at DFG BEVERAGE LLC?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under moderate supervision, will perform routine and corrective maintenance tasks to facilities and production systems involving plumbing, painting, landscaping, mechanical and carpentry. Has primary responsibility for performing full janitorial and landscaping tasks.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs routine janitorial and landscaping services for the site
- Assists with small projects and large-scale tasks with maintenance team.
- Performs preventative/predictive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
- Responds to emergency repair requests
- Installs, repairs or modifies existing or new equipment
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year general maintenance experience
- Knowledgeable in simple trades
- Knowledgeable regarding safe work practices
- Forklift certification preferred
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift heavy boxes 40-50 lbs., go up and down stairs and ladders.
The maintenance department presents a work environment which can vary from a workshop setting to climbing on top of outdoor equipment and buildings. Work can be impacted by constant interruptions and urgent changes in job priorities.
Hourly salary range: $27 – $29. This annual salary range reflects the expected hiring range for this position. Please note that this salary is solely for candidates hired to perform work within California and refers to the amount DFG Beverage is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
