What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder/Fabricator position at DFC Company?
Location: Fargo, ND
Shift and Time: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Wage: Starting at $23/hour, with higher pay based on experience
Summary:
- Interpret shop drawings and accurately lay out materials for fabrication.
- Manufacture components, products, and equipment through welding and other assembly methods.
- Collaborate with CAD drafters to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Organize and store materials effectively to maximize shop and yard space.
- Assist field crews with loading and unloading job materials.
- Safely operate mobile equipment as needed to perform daily job responsibilities.
- Follow all company safety procedures and environmental policies.
- Fabricate custom parts and equipment according to detailed design drawings and specifications.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be a qualified welder.
Physical Requirements:
- Required to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
