What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pavement Marking Laborer position at DFC Company?
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Construction experience preferred. Mechanical and computer knowledge is a plus.
Shift and Time: Monday through Friday (Some Saturdays), Seasonal
Starting wage: $19 /hour, based on experience. Opportunity for certified wages.
Summary:
- Assist with layout and application of pavement markings
- Paint and install linear and transverse markings on streets, parking lots, roads, and airport runways/taxiways
- Operate and maintain specialized pavement marking equipment
- Perform manual labor tasks
- Utilize mechanical skills for equipment operation and maintenance
Physical Requirements:
- Required to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift or move up to 100 pounds
- Occasionally required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
